Dear Teacher Education Resource Center (TERC) Patron:
The TERC has served our campus and community well for thirty years, and we acknowledge that many of our students, teachers, and community members will miss having access to its valuable resources and services. Ashland has generously agreed to donate most of the TERC materials and tools to LCCC.
Since August and September are important months for teacher preparation as we head into a new school year, LCCC will continue to staff the TERC on a part-time basis to make as many of its services available as possible to our campus and community during this busy time. Unfortunately, color printing and large format printing will be interrupted for a time while we work to establish alternative ways to offer these services. In addition, until we can catalog the TERC books, puppets, and other material into our college’s library circulation system, the TERC will be unable to loan those materials.
Starting Monday, August 12, all other services will be available at the TERC over the next 6 weeks during the following days and times: Monday, 10 AM - 3 PM; Wednesday, 2:30 - 7:30 PM; and Thursday, 10 AM - 3 PM.
We understand the TERC’s role as a community resource and will continue to offer all of its materials and services once the transition period is complete. As additional updates become available, we will be sure to notify you.
