Instructional Media Technology class

The class was EDUC 131/504: Instructional Media Technology. Students were required to complete a series of tasks that demonstrated their proficiency in technology. Leave it to the TERC staff to come up with some creative and fun ways to chart student progress.

As students completed the projects a gumball "dropped-out" of the machine.
When the gumball machine was empty students were gifted a sweet treat from the staff.

The monkeys held a banana for every student in the class!

As students completed a project a tiny bee was placed on their hive.
When all activities were complete a flower was placed on the hive.

The number on the cases reflected the number of projects completed. 
When all activities were completed a $ was placed on the case; and 
students received a thank-you treat from the staff.

One of our staff members was a huge fan of Survivor. Students received a letter for each project completed. When all activities were done and the word KNOWLEDGE was spelled out the torch was lit for all to see.
